Teaching children programming with Scratch and Minecraft Education

Our mission is to stimulate children's digital skills by teaching them computational thinking. In this way, our lessons help children acquire the critical digi-skills they need in this digitising society. We do this by combining our many years of knowledge and expertise from our Belgian coding academy CodeFever.

We send our know-how and expertise into the wide world via CodeCosmos. With attractive, narrative and theoretically sound learning paths in Scratch and Minecraft Education, we offer children between the ages of 10 and 14 a fantastic programming experience.

Our learning paths are designed for schools or children who want to work at home.

ScratchScratch, the programming language for children, is fully integrated in our learning platform. With the help of the digital co-teacher who checks code automatically, you can quickly program your own creative and systematic solutions for the challenging assignments in the CodeCosmos adventure. Are you ready to program your rocket to space?
MinecraftEducation EditionThe education edition of the world-famous and best-selling game ever has earned a well-deserved place in our teaching packages. Teenagers will discover the most important concepts of programming and computational thinking in a playful manner. While coding, they also learn more about the intriguing CodeCosmos story and the SDGs.

Who is CodeCosmos

CodeCosmos stems from VZW CodeFever and FTRPRF. Our organisations create and give programming lessons that cover all aspects of computational thinking.
During the Covid-19 lockdowns, we further specialised in digitalising our lesson packages that we now launch via CodeCosmos. These lessons, which were thoroughly tested by hundreds of children, are tailored to the international market. For our teaching packages, we work together with the University of Ghent, which is helping to build a digital co-teacher that automatically gives our pupils feedback on their programming assignments in Scratch.
